MOARENLA , a musician from the Ao tribe of Nagaland, creates original songs inspired by nature, spiritualism and folklore.

Her songs range from soulful and ambient, to energetic and upbeat, and with her operatic voice and melencholic tunes she has single-handedly created a whole genre of music which she calls – Naga Blues!

She has featured along side acclaimed folk band Rajasthan Roots in the leading Tv music shows such as the legendary Coke Studios at MTV and the Dewarists on Star world, among many other tv appearaces.

Her ability to write and compose songs both in her tribal dialect, as well as in English, allows her songs to transcend musical boundaries and appeal to various age groups.
